Estate Agent Today

A soon to launch online magazine for estate agents, Estate Agent Today.

Very interesting and I look forward to see it unveil on 1 July. Rosalind Renshaw is behind it, which must give it instant credibility and it is about time we had more online industry press.

The blurb and press release claims the 'The site will be like no other and feature:

* Daily Breaking News
* Regular Columns including “Ask the Expert”
* In depth articles and features covering the major topics affecting the industry including HIPS, Technology, Property Portals, Display & Interior Solutions, Recruitment and more.
* The indispensable and easy to use A - Z contact directories arranged by Sector
* Monthly Competitions & Prizes
* EAT Football Fantasy League
* Regular Life & Style Offers for your Agency
* Much more!!

The launch date has been set for Tuesday 1st July 2008 and we expect 40,000 users per month making our website one of the leading online platforms to promote your brand and service.'

I am not sure where the 40,000 guesstimate comes from, but we will be reading.

Good luck

Tell us if we are wrong, but £1,500 for a banner ad for a month seems to be a very high cpm based on their traffic prediction!?

Yes I was sceptical but now I have seen www.estateagenttoday.co.uk, what a site! It's such a good idea and the news is there all the time. Renshaw tops it. They will do the ad's cheaper apparently but the great thing is (they say) that not only is it cheaper than any other offline mag to advertise but they can track how many people se the ad's! You can't argue with that.

Can see there have been no posts since July but thought it def worth a mention now that 6 months in and this site is as greatif not better than when it arrived. The content is extremley relevant and up to date-great work Rosalind, the newsletter bringing the headlines to my inbox. In our office we use www.estateagenttoday.co.uk for industry talk and generally its brought up when speaking to those within the Estate Agency world (I guess this is where the traffic comes from). Take a look a this site and you wont be dissapointed. Yes there are adds on there but all relevant and what Agent wouldn't want to see any opertunity that could improve their business. Big Thumbs Up!!!
